I had no idea how Joe was going to help me with my frustrations in our corporate office. I was specifically interested in how Joe could help me fit-in at work. Joe suggested that maybe there were things I could change about myself instead of wishing and hoping for the office culture to change. And he was absolutely right. I had several social and emotional blind spots. In hindsight, it is no surprise to me that I wasn’t “fitting in”.
Since taking the Emotional Intelligence assessment, Joe and I have identified several opportunities for growth. I have been intentional about growing in these areas and now I’m feeling much more connected to my friends, family, and co-workers.
